Tuskar House Mews – Planning Resubmission

So I’m finally getting around to posting my redrawn and edited proposals for Tuskar House Mews, the freelance project I’ve been doing in the evenings and weekends since August last year. The old proposal was denied because the planners felt three mews on the site would be overdeveloped, and so  the new scheme is based on two larger residences rather than the previous three, so as to allow a larger footprint for each. The upper floors each unit have been amended and more information shown for the landscaping, access and bin stores.

First off, the building as existing;

Next, the proposed demolitions;

And finally, the proposals;

The scheme is pretty solid in relation to building regs and general guidelines, and with very few alterations to the external appearance of the existing building my hope is we get through planning relatively unscathed. The most contentious element of the design is the small dormer positioned to the rear of Unit A, but as this is hidden from the street, my fingers are crossed that it will get through okay.

Progress reports to follow.
